Role Introduction
  Architect and deploy comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategies, focusing on building and maintaining strong networks with key government authorities, regulatory bodies, trade ministries, and customs officials. Establish robust relationship management processes to streamline high-level government advocacy and corporate affairs initiatives. Continuously track political, economic, and trade-related regulatory shifts to deliver proactive risk-mitigation roadmaps to senior leadership. Lead the local Incident Management & Crisis Resolution (IMCR) framework, providing strategic counsel during regulatory disputes, customs hold, or supply chain compliance disruptions. Requirements
m and external regulatory bodies, translating legal/trade compliance requirements into robust business protective measures. Utilize data-driven sentiment analysis and regulatory tracking to build science-based, objective arguments for high-level government engagement and policy dialogues. Drive continuous process improvement by aligning local trade execution with global compliance and ethics narratives (in collaboration with Group/Hub networks). Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in Public Affairs, Government Relations, Trade Compliance, or Customs/Regulatory Affairs. Post-Graduate Degree or Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Law, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven track record in managing Export/Import licensing lifecycle, port/customs clearance procedures, and dealing directly with regulatory agencies and trade departments. (FMCG background is a plus, but candidates from electronics, manufacturing, logistics, or other import-heavy industries are strongly encouraged to apply). A proactive relationship builder with a strong aptitude for regulatory diplomacy, trade advocacy, and hands-on crisis resolution.
